Account deletion Your account is disabled immediately, with retained data recoverable by you for 30 days. Then it is purged from the active app database. Hosting backups, screenshots and downloaded copies are outside this purge.

Send text messages and photos, start one-to-one or group chats, and find people by their exact username. Chats and photos need sign-in and permission to that conversation. They are not public pages. An authorized admin can review messages and photos for safety moderation. Automatic AI decisions are not enabled. An internet connection is required. Android users can install the web app from a supported browser.
Your username stays separate from your display name and is used to find you.
Online presence is shared with people in your existing chats. Read receipts are shared within each conversation. Controls to hide them are not available yet.
Message actions Delete for me hides messages and photos only from your account, with no time limit. Delete for everyone is available only for your sent messages during the first 48 hours after sending. It replaces them for all chat members. Messages never delete automatically. Downloaded copies and screenshots cannot be removed. A bulk action changes all selected messages, or none.
Safety review requests If your account is banned, sign in with the correct password to see the reason and remaining time, then submit a private request for an admin review. Requests do not automatically end a ban or promise a response time.
