Voice notes and photos on Saylune
30 October 2026
Sometimes typing is too slow and a picture says it better. Here is how voice notes and photos work on Saylune.
Voice notes
Open any chat and use the voice message button to start recording. You can stop and send, or cancel before anything leaves your device. When you receive a voice note, you can play it at normal speed or faster using the playback speed control, so long messages take less time.
If you like, you can turn on auto-send so a finished recording is sent without an extra tap. It stays off unless you choose it.
Photos
You can send a photo from your gallery or take one with your camera. Before sending, Saylune asks you to add a description. That description is read aloud by screen readers, so members who cannot see the photo still know what it shows. Writing one takes a few seconds and makes the chat better for everyone.
Make it yours
Photos are not only for sending. In chat settings you can set a photo as your chat wallpaper, pick chat colors, and choose how dense or airy messages look. Appearance choices stay on your own browser, so every device can look the way you like.
